Ombusdman Grace Malera stopped from releasing report on Kachaje’s appointment

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA) has obtained an injunction restraining the Office of the Ombudsman from releasing investigation report on the appointment of MERA Chief Executive Officer Henry Kachaje.

The injunction was served to Ombusdman Grace Malera just minutes after starting presenting the report on the matter in the capital Lilongwe.

Malera has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

According to Malera, two ladies came in with some papers of the injunction.
