Burial of Traditional Authority Kabunduli the 22 nd of Mzenga area in Nkhatabay District is underway.
Kabunduli was born on 8 October 1954 and died on 5 November 2021 at Mzuzu Central Hospital after a long illness.
His departure has been described as a great loss to the people of the area and the country at large.
TA Kabunduli the 22nd was crowned Traditional Authority on 16 April 2018.
Born Goodwill Chiwiwi Mwase, he is survived by a wife, seven children and 14 grandchildren.
Deputy Minister of Local Government, Halima Daudi, Chiefs and other Government officials including the former Vice President Khumbo Kachali are attending the ceremony.
