Nankhumwa visits Steven Maseya at Lumbadzi Police Station

Leader of Opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa who is also Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President for the South on Sunday visited Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) Broadcaster Steven Maseya at Lumbazi Police Station in the capital Lilongwe.

Maseya was arrested on Thursday on allegations that he was circulating fake Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examination papers.

Nankhumwa promised to stand with him during this time of his arrest.

On his part Maseya expressed gratitude to the Leader of the Opposition for sparing time to visit and cheer him up.

Maseya will be taken to court any day this week.
