Bushiri hits back at critics

Prophet Shepherd Bushiri of Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) church has come out of the cocoon to criticize his critics following revival of church services.

The development comes barely days after announcing the resumption of church services at ECG headquarters in the capital Lilongwe.

“We have been in Malawi and it has been a year without stories. Now that revival has started and so many people are coming, you will hear Bushiri this and Bushiri that. Guess who will be pushing that propaganda? – other men of God.

“Our church does not grow because we hate your church. It grows because we respect your church and we learn few things from your leaderships,” wrote Bushiri.

He added: “You can do the same.

“Let us work together for our revival and your revival. We are one body, one Christ, one Holy Spirit and one Father.

“No need of fake stories just to protect members. Those days are gone. Let us with love, learn from one another!”.

Bushiri is wanted in South Africa for money laundering charges.
