UTM shocked with Kalindo’s resignation

United Transformation Movement (UTM) spokesperson Frank Tumpale Mwenifumbo has said the party is shocked with the resignation of Bon Kalindo as their National Youth Director.

Mwenefumbo said Kalindo made significant contribution towards the formation of the party.

He has since said the party respects his decision.

Meanwhile, political analyst Ernest Thindwa thinks Kalindo has resigned due to the party’s failure to reward him for his contributions.

Kalindo told journalists in Blantyre Wednesday morning that he can’t remain with a party which forms a government that has failed to fulfill campaign promises.
