Zambian Prophet Accused Of Raping Radio Presenter

A Zambian Prophet who is also a leader of Goodness and Mercy Ministries, T Freddy has been arrested by police on raped allegations.

Prophet T Freddy stands accused of sexually assaulting 33-year-old ZBC Radio presenter Rutendo Makuti on several occasions after her husband died in 2019.

Prophet T Freddy’s arrest comes just a few days after Rutendo filed a rape complaint claiming the self-proclaimed man of God sexually assaulted her.

According to the police in Zambia, the presenter claimed that the prophet forced himself on her on several occasions after her husband died.

Rutendo revealed that a couple of months after her husband died, Prophet T Freddy proposed love to her, but she declined as she was still mourning her husband.

However, on one particular occasion, Prophet T Freddy is alleged to have raped Rutendo after he asked to stay the night on the basis that it was late.

Prophet T Freddy is alleged to have repeated the visits to Rutendo’s place of residence and raped her each time.

After she filed the report, Rutendo was referred to Parirenyatwa Hospital for medical examination.

Prophet T Freddy has since denied the rape allegations as he claims that she is trying to extort him.

A local publication has since shared a video of the self-proclaimed man of God arriving at the court with his lawyers.
