First Capital Bank says only vaccinated employees to receive Christmas bonuses

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that only employees who have received COVID-19 jab are qualified to receive Christmas bonuses at First Capital Bank (FCB).

This has been confirmed in a circular dated November 30, 2021 signed by First Capital Bank (FCB) Chief Executive Officer Jaco Viljoen addressed to all employees.

According to Viljoen, the decision has been made to encourage staff members to receive the vaccine and the same time prevent the spread of new variant called Omicron.

“More than half of our staff already made the responsible decision to get vaccinated and it is to this end that Management agreed to show our gratitude towards everyone who did,” reads in part the circular.
