Atom DJ laid to rest in Balaka

The body of John Mota, also popularly known as Atom DJ was on Tuesday laid to rest at his village Sosola, Traditional Authority Msamala in Balaka District.
Mota died of High Blood Pressure on December 7, 2021 at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in the commercial capital, Blantyre.
Presidential Advisor on Youth and Arts Lucius Banda led thousands of Malawians in paying last respect to the departed radio personality.
Balaka District Commissioner Mcloud Kadammanja also attended the funeral ceremony which started with a mass.
DJ Atom until his death worked for 101 Power FM.
He died at the age of 41.
