The Malawi Congress Party (MCP) has cancelled all its planned political rallies until the COVID-19 situation improves.
The party’s North-South Regional Chairperson, Joseph Chavula confirmed that a mega rally initially slated for Chiwabvi in Mzuzu on 18th December 2021 has been cancelled.
The cancellation comes barely five days after the party had pulled multitudes at its Masintha Ground rally in Lilongwe
Meanwhile, the DPP-UDF Alliance discloses it will have a mega rally at the Njamba Freedom Park in Blantyre on Sunday.
