Police have arrested a 33-year-old man, Steven Chilenga, for allegedly cultivating cannabis sativa (Chamba) in Chiradzulu.
According to Chiradzulu Police Public Relations Officer, Sergeant Innocent Moses, the police received a tip from well wishers and conducted a search at the accused’s farm.
He is expected to appear in court soon after the police are done with their investigations.
Steven Chilenga hails from Kazombe village, Senior Chief Likoswe in Chiradzulu district.
