Democratic progressive party (DPP) president, Peter Mutharika has described the Tonse lead government as a failed state.
Mutharika made the remarks during a joint rally with United Democratic Front (UDF) at Njamba freedom park in Blantyre.
According to Mutharika, the government is doing is contrary to what they promised during the campaign period.
Among other things Mutharika has described Malawi Congress Party (MCP) as a party that has lost direction and nobody can fix the matters.
He said MCP is a ‘Ng’ona government’ that seeks to kill opposition leaders.
Both Mutharika and Atupele Muluzi bemoaned president Lazurus Chakwera for using the military to scare people for speaking out on the social and economics.
They further condemned the current government on the recent arrest which to their view are political.
