The Lilongwe Magistrate Court has adjourned to 10th March 2022 a case involving two Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) officials, Dalitso Kabambe and Joseph Mwanamveka.
One of the defense lawyers, Mercy Chijere says they are just waiting for the state to submit the case papers for them to prepare.
Director of Public Prosecutions Steven Kayuni says they will ensure that all necessary documents have been submitted by that time.
Among others, Kabambe and Mwanamveka are being accused of presenting wrong figures to the IMF and World Bank on the country’s economic situation when they were serving as Reserve Bank Governor and Finance Minister respectively.
