How To Avoid Common Problems In Writing Articles As A Content Creator

Before you start writing an article, have you ever felt overcome by a desolate sensation, not knowing where to start and what word to use?…I’ll bet you have and you are not alone.

The checklist below should encourage you to eliminate some common crises in writing articles:

1. Have a specific objective in mind.

Always have a certain purpose in mind before you commence writing: you should be crystal clear about what are you dreaming to accomplish by writing your article.

Is it an article explaining some ideas to your clients, to lure competitors, to improve the link popularity for your website?

2. Know your target community.

Before jotting down an article, do proper investigation on the target community. What are their ordeals, their interest, and their wants in the chosen theme? What pain or problem do they try to avoid?

3. Compile a comprehensive summary first, stressing on the benefits.

Now that you have an objective and a target, organize your article so that browsing it quickly will show instantly to your reader how he will prosper from it and what are the most important key facts.

4. Stop your reader in his tracks with your title.

Your title should grab the reader’s attention and ‘force’ him to read your first paragraph. Using your most important benefit usually does it.

5. Start your article with the most important information.

Again, do not keep your most important information for the ending part. Give it instantly and develop on it in the subsequent paragraphs.

6. Keep terminologies away.

If reasonable, avoid vocabulary as well as discriminations and imputations. Compose your article so that even a child can believe it.

7. Formulate your article warm and personal.

Talk direct to the reader. Make use of “you” a lot.

By reading your article, the reader should feel some warmth and empathy, realizing that you have the same problems and objectives than him.

8. Keep sentences brief and easy.

Employing short and simple paragraphs will allow a flowing and easy reading, preventing your reader to get tired.

9. Have someone from the target community to critisize your article. So that you can easily learn to correct your errors.

Who can give you a better response than someone from your target community? It will help you a lot.

10. Spend more time rewriting than writing.

Besides formatting your article for easy reading and nice exhibition, be sure to use devices or an external essayist to carefully proofead your writing for grammatical and spelling errors. I mostly use Grammarly app.

Know that the more writing you do, the better you will get. After sometimes, when you are in the mood of writing, article writing will not seem as difficult as it appears to you now.
