Couple with 19 Kids Plead for Help to Fend for Them: “We Are Struggling to Feed Them”

A couple from Kilifi county in Kenya has spoken up about their struggle to take care of their 19 children in these tough economic times.

Munga Chiro and his wife Mbodze Munga said she is not on any birth control as doctors said it would affect her health.

The kids ranging between 32 and two years old are born to a now 57-year-old woman who got married at 19 Pay attention.

The couple said it has been an uphill task to provide for the children, especially now that the COVID-19 pandemic has hit the economy.

Mbodze Munga, the 57-year-old mother of 19, got married at 19 years and has been getting multiple children.

According to the kids’ father Munga Chiro, the couple had not planned to have this many children, but it kept happening since his wife was not on any birth control.

“Rigth now my 27 year old has not found employment for a while now, he was chipping in with taking care of his younger siblings,” Chiro said.
