Chakwera shocked with Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu’s death

President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has expressed shock over the death of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu of South Africa

Tutu died at the age of 90.

In his message, President Chakwera said he will remember Archbishop Tutu as an outstanding global icon who utilised the power of deliberate, honest and constructive dialogue to facilitate lasting peace among people of different races and creeds.

Chakwera said he together with all Malawians, express heartfelt condolences to the Tutu family, South Africans everywhere and everyone he touched in one way or another during his life of exceptional service to humanity.
