“I am truly saddened to hear of the loss of Madame Anne Muluzi, former First Lady of Malawi.

“Words may not suffice to express the heartfelt sorrow that we feel following her passing, since Madame Muluzi was not only a mother to many but a great person to the nation who dedicated most part of her life serving others,” wrote Kabambe.

He added: “Our thoughts and prayers are with the Muluzi family during this difficult time.

“Madame Muluzi will live on in our memories forever.”
