A motorcyclist has died while his passenger has sustained serious injuries after his motorcycle collided with a motor vehicle in Chiradzulu District.
District Police Publicist Sergeant Innocent Moses confirmed a short while ago that the incident occurred at Losa Trading Center.
Moses said the police are hunting for the driver of the motor vehicle who was also carrying four bags of cannabis sativa popularly known as Chamba.
The cyclist, Ridson Hetekere,36, of Mtamba Village Traditional Authority Nkalo in Chiradzulu died upon arrival at Thuchira healthy center after sustaining severe head injuries and a hip fracture.
