Kalindo cancels demonstrations in Blantyre

Former United Transformation Movement (UTM) National Youth Director Bon Kalindo cum activist has canceled that anti-government demonstrations which were scheduled to take place in Blantyre today.

The development comes barely hours after the police arrested three co-organisers of demonstrations at Midima where the protest was expected to start.

Kalindo has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

He said the demonstrations have been postponed because police are firing teargas, beating and arresting people without any reason.
