The Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) Church has announced the release of a $20 million fund dedicated to the construction of ECG churches, in the 2022-2023 financial calendar, in all the 73 countries where it operates.
To access the fund, ECG leader Prophet Shepherd Bushiri said, through a televised address last night, that branch pastors will be required to submit their building plans before church headquarters in Lilongwe for approval in form of a loan which will be refunded in an estimated period of time.
He further said that all the churches must submit plans that do not just stop at constructing prayer houses; but they should also include construction of schools and hospitals as part of their projects to help improve delivery of social services in their areas.
Bushiri also advised all ECG Pastors across the world to refrain from taking part in partisan politics but rather to always work with the governments of the day mostly in areas of community development.
