Popular exotic dancer, Zodwa Wabantu has intimated that she’s not going to practice as a sangoma however she has embraced her ancestral calling.
She left her tongues wagging after sharing a photo of herself wearing traditional clothes in a river while holding an animal horn.
Some of her fans believed that she’s being called to become a sangoma because the things she does in terms of her lifestyle make sense. After all, ancestors tend to make people behave in certain ways which are mostly out of the ordinary until they accept their calling.
Well, Zodwa speaking with TshisaLive, explained that she now knows why she likes walking around naked as her ancestors have been calling her.
She said, “No wonder I’ve been walking around naked. They make you lose your mind in different ways, so they were taking me out of poverty and gave this kind of life so that I have my fill. They know that’s not the end to me, it’s not my purpose that I have to fulfil”
According to him, her ancestors dictate what she can do and cannot do or put on his body including wearing of expensive watches, earrings, weaves and others. She added that she now understands why she hasn’t desire what people like.
Speaking with IOL she said, “I told them that I love sex. And I won’t stop having sex. Even if they take my Ben 10, they must know that I will find another one. I’ve even asked them not to take my money. Even if they instruct me to stop dancing naked, I’ll obey but if they want me to continue making my fans happy so be it. But I’ve surrendered to the gift.“
