A possessive husband of Kuku Compound in Lusaka has murdered his 42-year-old wife, whom he has been married to for barely a month, in unclear circumstances.
The victim Margaret Phiri who died on Monday morning, was beaten by her husband, a bus driver on Thursday, for allegedly engaging in extra marital affairs, has left behind three children from her first marriage.
Speaking at the funeral house in Kuku compound, the 68-year-old father of the deceased says the marriage never had his blessings and that he wants Justice by police apprehending the suspect who is currently on the run.
