Hearing Of Bob Mtekama Case, Former Police Director Of Criminal Investigations Who Died Mysteriously Resumes

The Lilongwe Chief Resident Magistrate has today resumed the inequest on the mysterious death of Bob Mtekama, former Director of Criminal Investigations in the Malawi Police Service.
Yesterday three witnesses that testified before Chief Resident Magistrate Patrick Chirwa include; the late Mtekama’s close friend Frackson Njoka, the deceased’s wife, Caveness Mtekama and his in-law Andrew Mlumbe.
Today his Brother Kamungo Mtekama has testified. He said he doesn’t know what led to the death of his brother because no proper medical documents were provided to family.
Director of Health Services for Blantyre, Dr Gift Kawalazira has, meanwhile, tendered a medical report on laboratory samples and the Covid-19 results sheet which shows that late Mtekama tested positive for Covid-19.
