A Murder docket has been opened at Mangochi Police Station against 28 year old man identified as Said Malora a driver who hit a road traffic officer yesterday in the district.
Mangochi Police Station spokesperson, Amina Tepani Daudi, has confirmed the development.
The Officer, Sergeant Patricia Chinguwo, who at the time of the incident was working at a police check point along Mangochi- Liwonde road, died on the spot.
Daudi says that the body of Chinguwo is expected to be laid to rest today Mwanza district.
