President Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, President of the Republic of Malawi is in Switzerland for an official visit until Wednesday, 23rd February, 2022.
President Chakwera and the First Lady, Madam Monica Chakwera kicked off their official engagements in Geneva, Switzerland by meeting in audience with representatives of the Malawian Community and this morning at 8:30, Chakwera is expected to hold a meeting with Dr. Tedros Adhanom Chebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organisation ( WHO) before holding another meeting with his Excellency Federico Villegas, President of the United Nations Human Rights Council at 11:30 Hours.
Later in the afternoon, the Malawi leader together with the first lady, will meet in audience with the representatives of the world Council of Churches and then tomorrow, His Excellency the President will hold a meeting with Mr Philips Amon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SICPA.
President Chakwera’s official visit, will be concluded on Wednesday as he holds a meeting with Mr Peter Sands, Executive Director of the Global Fund before departing Geneva International Airport during the afternoon hours of Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022.
