Chambu Primary School Teacher Temwanani Chilenga Wins Woman of Substance humanitarian award

Chambu Primary School teacher Temwanani Chilenga has worn the Woman of Substance humanitarian award over her role in assisting learners with exercise books, pens, school uniforms from the little she earn every month.

The function which was organized by Pan African Learning and Growth Network was held at Nkopola Lodge in Mangochi from Thursday last week.

The function was presided over by a spouse to the country’s State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima, Mary.

Chilenga confirmed receiving the award in a short statement posted on her official facebook page seen by this publication.

“Congratulations to myself for winning the Woman of Substance humanitarian award organized by Pan African Learning and Growth Network,” wrote Chilenga.

Minister of Gender, Children and Social Welfare Dr. Patricia Kaliati was also among few people who received the award at the event.
