Govt moves in to assist Kasungu woman suffering from breast cancer

The government of Malawi through Ministry of Health has moved in to rescue a Kasungu based woman suffering from breast cancer.

On Wednesday, the social media was awash with a video clip showing of a woman identified as Dalilan Isaac with a wound on her left breast.

According to the narrator of the clip, the woman has been failing to breast feed her two months baby due to her condition.

The narrator went on appealing to well-wishers to assist the woman so that she can access medical treatment.

But this morning Minister of Health Khumbize Kandodo Chiponda took to social media to inform Malawians that the woman has been traced and is currently at Kamuzu Central hospital in Lilongwe.

“We have tracked the woman with medical condition on her breast and she is getting the necessary medical attention required. God bless,” wrote Kandodo.

Isaac hails from Chipoza village in the area of chief Santhe in Kasungu.
