More than 80% of Zambians have expressed anger with President Hakainde Hichilema for not inviting the country’s Renowned Clergyman Prophet ISAAC Praise to attend the official funeral of Zambia’s 4th Republican President Rupiah Bwezani Banda.
According to opinion polls conducted by the Zambia National Centre of Public Ideas (ZNCPI) , 85% of Zambians believe it was an oversight for the government not to invite the National Prophet to such an important event.
Many people spoken to said the government should find time and appologise to Prophet Isaac and people of Zambia for seemingly disrespecting the Man of God by not inviting him to the funeral of late President.
Ethel Mwanza of Lusaka said she was shocked not to see Africa’s most known clergyman Prophet ISAAC Praise at the funeral. She has since appealed to President HH and UPND to publicly appologise for not officially inviting Prophet Isaac and the Head of State should ensure that the Man of God is invited for all National events from now onwards.
