Bus gutted down by fire along Balaka-Ntcheu road

Information reaching this publication indicates that a bus has been gutted down by fire at a place called Njereza along Balaka-Ntcheu road.
The bus with students and other people on board was on its way to Lilongwe from Blantyre using the M1 road.
According to an eyewitness, the cause of the fire is not known but passengers just saw smoke forcing the driver to stop the bus.
Properties worth millions belonging to passengers have been destroyed by the fire.
So far no injuries or deaths have been recorded in the fire accident.
