Chakwera reconciles with ex-MCP Secretary General Gustave Kaliwo

President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has reconciled with former Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Secretary General Gustave Kaliwo.
Kaliwo made headlines in 2018 where on two occasions blocked MCP’s elective conference which saw late Muhammad Sidik Mia replacing former Speaker of Parliament Richard Msowoya as MCP Vice President.
He was regarded as Nkholokolo in MCP together with Jessie Kabwira.
Kaliwo was on Wednesday spotted at Kamuzu Palace in the capital Lilongwe together with Duncan Phoya.
After the meeting, the two took a photo shoot with President Lazarus Chakwera together with MCP Secretary General Eisenhower Mkaka.
