A Zambian man George Banda has divorced his nurse wife Natasha Mulenga for allergedly liking and commenting on pictures of a fitness trainer Imasiku Mwiya who also happens to be a lecturer at Natural Resources & Development College (NRDC).
According to reports, Mwiya posted the pictures in 2021 and Mulenga hit on the love button showing her reaction before making a sensitive comment on the pictures.
“Aya ndiye ma type ya bamuna zoona which loosely translate that ‘these are the real type of men,” commented Mulenga.
Unfortunately, Mulenga’s husband came across the comments which prompted him to file for divorce because he felt disrespected.
Giving his testimony in court, Banda said that his wife has been disrespectful in their marriage.
According to Banda his wife has a tendency of admiring men on social media and even leaving comments that suggests she is in love with them, which breaks his heart.
He continued that the comment his wife made on Mwiya is not the first one adding that, she had previously wrote ”Oh my gosh! Such are the type of men we want. Not some men, only a voice is what will tell you that this person is man.”
In her defense, Mulenga who showed no remorse for her actions said that her husband is just jealous and he feels inferior thus making her life difficult.
When the husband asked the court to excuse him from their marriage, Mulenga did not object nor beg her husband to reconsider his decision but instead accepted.
