Last night, the emotional Keturah, proudly known as Local Girl in a less than 2 minutes live video on Facebook confessed that she is in a romantic relationship with social media influencer Pemphero Mphande who also happens to be her former manager.
While trying so hard to hold back the tears that wanted to see themselves through the songbird’s soft dark cheeks, Keturah drawn the attention of her followers when she said “I want to tell you the truth about Pemphero Mphande”
With a few pause, the Local Girl finally spilled what has been long anticipated by a lot of Malawians let alone those who have been following the journey of Mphande managing the sensetual singer.
“Pemphero and I are dating” said Keturah but before she could continue the live video ended leaving her followers and those who were eagerly waiting to hear what she wanted to say in suspense, the hopes that she might come back for a live video to continue where she stopped from, crashed. Keturah never came back.
Keturah’s confession that she is romantically involved with Mr. Zee World or Mr Hide My ID as he is known, comes at a time Mphande is fearing for his life following a prophecy by a 42 year old woman who said she dreamt about Mphande’s death which is likely to happen tomorrow, Friday 22, 2022.
Keturah’s confession has therefore attracted mixed reactions form Malawians on social media, some accused her of being immature and driven by emnotions which is likely to shutter her music journey if not careful.
Others think everything is a stunt as it started with Mphande himself by claiming that someone has prophesied about his death, all this to gain public sympathy.
Keturah has also been quizzed as to why all of sudden she has decide to come out and publicize about her relationship with Mphande yet for the past year the duo has been denying the rumors.
One of Malawi’s Hip-hop artist Kalawe of the Dzuka Malawi hit while revealing his admiration to Keturah’s undeniable talent, expressed his concerns on what he said the stunts the young and talented lady is executing.
According to Kalawe, keturah has what it takes to spotlight without involving herself in baseless stunt citing Sangie and Leslie as examples of stunts-free female musician but blossoming musically.
“I have never hidden my admiration for this young lady’s music. However, lately she is allowing her love to always be the trendy subject overtake her intellect, her music prowess and her moral standing. This is making me sad,” wrote Kalawe.
A Facebook user YD Giftedbrain Duwa thinks Keturah cannot handle the pressure of being famous, according to him she wasn’t suppose to get famous in the first place.
One Joseph Fif-Tay Phiri had this to say “Heart broken//Depressed//seemed to be Forced to say those words. I see something fishy here. Its either someone is dating with Him as well so she wants to stop her Or she was being forced not to say about the relationship to the public but her heart was still in pains!!……My thoughts never mind!!”
Pemphero Mphande has not responded to claims by the Local Girl but chances are that in no time he will come through and address the elephant in the bag.
