Tam-Tam Bus Involved In Road Accident, 32 People Injured

A total of 32 people are battling for their lives at Dedza District Hospital after a Tam-Tam Bus they were travelling in veered off the road and plunged into Namanyungwi River near Kalinyeke Tollgate.

Dedza Police Deputy Publicist, Cassim Manda has confirmed of the accident in an interview with the press.

According to Manda, the accident happened when the driver of the bus applied an emergency break in course of avoiding hitting an unidentified vehicle which was overtaking four vehicles.

The bus was on its way to Lilongwe from Blantyre.

The victims are currently admitted at Dedza District Hospital.
