Dausi sides with Nankhumwa, blasts social media fighting in DPP

Date:

Mwanza Central Member of Parliament Nicholas Dausi said the squabbles in the party are part of strengthening their political entity.

Dausi said they acknowledge that DPP president is Peter Mutharika who was duly elected at a convention and there is no two ways about it.

He said despite disagreements in the party, all warring factions remain DPP and under Mutharika as their party father.

“When we exchange bad words on social media, we do that to whose benefit? We are all one and we should acknowledge that honourable Nankhumwa remains our leader of opposition,” he said.

Dausi said this during a rally organized by Grezelder Jeffrey on Sunday at Mgona in Lilongwe.
