Bride And Groom Set Themselves On Fire in Jaw Dropping Wedding Send Off || PHOtOS

Ambyr Bambyr and Gabe Jessop tied the knot in a very special way – setting themselves on fire during their wedding send-off. The trained professionals warned against trying the trick at home

A newlywed couple left their guests stunned when they set themselves on fire in a one-of-a-kind wedding send off.

Professional stunt duo Ambyr Bambyr and Gabe Jessop treated their guests to a “Hunger Games”-style wedding ceremony.

They exited their reception in flames – just like Suzanne Collins’ character Katniss does in the popular film.

In a video taken by one of their guests, Russ Powell, he joked: “Ambyr and Gabe met on set, their wedding exit makes sparklers look boring.”

Rather than getting showered with confetti or tossed with flower petals, the couple put on a dramatic pyrotechnic display.

They donned fire-proof gowns and suits and anti-burn gel, before walking onto the field with burning flames on their back.

Ambyr holds her bouquet up like the Olympic torch, while husband Gabe waves to their guests.

They run up to their helpers and kneel down to allow them to put out the fire with extinguishers.

“Our wedding send off was accomplished with a team of professionals and should not be attempted without proper training and equipment,” Ambyr wrote in her post.

People loved the idea and compared them to the characters in Hollywood movie Hunger Games.

“Okay Katniss Everdeen and Peeta,” one said and a second penned: “That was awesome, that’s a hot couple there.”

A third added: “They got baptised by fire extinguisher at the end there.”

Some were surprised their hair and skin didn’t get burned – and Russ replied to them: “They both had anti-burn gel in their hair and face, then Ambyr had a wig on top.

“Remember, these are trained professionals, don’t try this at home.”

Elsewhere, a couple broke wedding tradition by.

Collin and Pearl couldn’t make up their mind until the very last minute when they were at the altar.

So they left the decision to the hands of the officiator, who flipped a coin to decide whose last name to take.
