Thieves Ransack Tv Station In Zambia

Date:

Privately owned Kenmark Broadcasting Network Television was last night raided by unknown criminals who broke into its studios and got away with broadcasting equipment.

In a state of shock and disbelief KBN Chief Executive Officer Pastor Kennedy Mambwe has described the theft as unprecedented adding that it is unsafe for the media industry to work in such an environment.

A check at KBN new studios along Mwembeshi Road in North mead residential area found management and staff at the premises still in shock and coming to terms with the stripping of studio equipment.
