Tributes are pouring for one of Malawi’s talented musician Martin Nkhata popularly known as Martse in the entertainment cycle.
Martse died at queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre while nursing wounds he sustained after a fire incident.
Musicians in the country are sending the condolences messages to Martse.
One Onesimus Muzik said; “Many hearts are broken 💔, and this is going to be hard to process for the longest time. Go well brother, may your soul rest in Peace.”
In his condolences message, Patience Namadingo said despite not meeting Martse face to face but he appreciated the talent that Martse had.
Not only musicians have been devastated with Martse’s death, politicians have also been touched.
“Rest well, the king of Hip Hop music, Martse. I’m heartbroken, I’m short of words!” Kondwani Nankhumwa, leader of opposition in Parliament wrote.
One social media influencer Onjezani Kenani said; “Rest in peace, Martse. What an incredibly talented young man.. My deepest condolences to his family.”
