Artist Paints The Bushiris Through Mouth

Well-known artist Chris Chayera has presented a painting of Prophet Shepherd Bushiri and Prophetess Mary Bushiri of Enlighten Christian Gathering (ECG) Church.

Bushiri’ Public Relations Officer Ephraim Nyondo has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.

According to Nyondo, the artist came up with the painting through his mouth.

“Mr Chris Chayera from Lilongwe, Malawi, has physical disabilities but his condition, interestingly, doesn’t stop his burden to express appreciation, through art, to those he so admires.

“So he paints using his mouth, yes his mouth, and his recent art piece below, according to him, was done to honour and appreciate the charity works that Prophet Bushiri does in the country,” said Nyondo.

He added: “He made it a point that no matter how many years it would take, he will be a man in the moon if he delivers the art piece alone to the Prophet.

“On Sunday, after the service, a visibly jovial and contented Chayera met Major 1 and presented the pieces!.”
