Davido wants WhatApp’s ‘Online’ status removed

Social media provides the platform for people to interact across the globe, the evolution of the new media has made the world a global village. One of such platforms is WhatsApp, the platform owned by facebook enables people to send instant texts, images, videos and other documents. But like any other thing the messaging platform has some areas of complaint.

One of such complaints is the status of users, users are uncomfortable with the feature showing their presence online. One instance is the reaction of Nigerian music artist Davido, who expressed himself through social media. He wrote that the feature should be removed from WhatsApp because it creates problems.

The musician popularly referred to as OBO expressed his thoughts through a message on twitter, and his tweet reads; “Make them remove this online thing from whatsApp e too dey bring wahala”.

Perhaps Davido is frustrated by the online feature which probably exposes his online presence to others.
