Prophet David Mbewe leader and founder of Living Word Evangelistic Church (LIWEC) has been nominated by members of Freedom of Worship Association of Malawi (FOWAM) which he also heads to contest in the forthcoming presidential polls.
Prophet Mbewe’s endorsement was made during an engagement between the memberships drawn from the Southern region in Blantyre.
According to members of FOWAM, the man of God for the past years has shown characters that he deserves to be a national leader.
However, Mbewe is yet to give his response on the call by his fellow clergy men.
But he said the call is something huge that needs his time to think before making any decision about it.
Mbewe has also been making headlines that he is vying for the presidency of the former ruling democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
