Man Caught At Married Side-Chick’s House In Blantyre

A man from Machinjiri Township was badly beaten by the husband whose wife he was dating during lunch hour on 8 June, 2022 at Makhetha in Blantyre.

According to the source, the wife identified as Margret Jumbe has been dating this man for more than 9 months now and ever since the relationship her behavior towards her husband changed completely because she was planning to leave her husband’s home for the boyfriend.

The source said on this day Mr. Jumbe went to work early in the morning as usual but did not inform his wife that he will be having a half day at his office and that he will come back at noon.

“At noon Margret prepared lunch and called the lover who works at Maoni offices near Makhetha Market (Manda a Mbuzi) to come to her house and eat lunch together,” she explained.

The source added that when they were on the table eating the husband appeared from nowhere.

Upon entering the house he found the boyfriend seating comfortably on the dining table as if it was his own, immediately after setting his eyes on Jumbe the boyfriend started sweating despite the cold weather.

“Jumbe asked his wife who it was but according to the fear that the two had, he concluded that they are lovers. The husband descended on the boyfriend with fierce slaps. It took the intervention of well-wishers for suspect to escape from the scene,” she said.

She said the woman could not content the fire she has started in her home because it was so hot to the extent that she took her clothes and run away to her parental village in Chiradzulu.

Married couples should live an exemplary life and if there are any misunderstandings it is better to settle them amicably rather than making a decision which will leave regrets in life.
