Something is fishy about the Ramaphosa robbery footage. Look what people are noticing

Cyril Ramaphosa must do the honourable thing and resign. Khusela Diko, Dr Bandile Masuku, Malusi Gigaba and Dr Zweli Mkhize all resigned due to serious allegations levelled against them, they didn’t wait to be charged. This is one of the comments from South Africans who are troubled by criminals charges levelled against the Head of State.

The country has been restless since former SSA DG, Arthur Fraser laid criminal charges against Ramaphosa about a case of stolen dollars from Ramaphosa’s farm in Limpopo. According to Fraser, Ramaphosa did not report a case of theft that took place at his house. It has emerged that Ramaphosa has been keeping millions of US dollars under mattresses and couches in his house. When he opened the case, Arthur Fraser also produced footage, which has been published for the public to see. This footage is part of proof that indeed the robbery took place at the President’s farm.

What has been noticed from the footage

In the footage, which is in a form of CCTV video, people can be seen crawling into Ramaphosa’s house and searching. But there is something fishy that people are noticing about that footage. I have noticed it too after looking hard into the video clip. A Twitter user, Brian Mshengu posted a screenshot of the clip on Twitter. The first part of the video shows the two men crawling into the house on 9 February at about 22:14 and the other part shows 00:34. The tricky part here is the date. Both clips show Sunday 9 February 2020. Did you notice that even after midnight the date did not change?

It looks like the video has been cooked. Rumour has it that Fraser’s credibility is questionable. On top of it, he waited with such damning knowledge and only coming out to reveal it now. Could this really be part of a smear campaign to bring Ramaphosa down?

Namibian President implicated

According to Arthur Fraser, one of the suspects who stole money from Ramaphosa was a Namibian-born individual. Fraser allege that Ramaphosa worked with President of Namibia, Hage Geingob to apprehend the suspect. Ramaphosa is alleged to have confiscated some of the money and other assets from the suspect, with the help of Geingob. But Geingob laughed all the claims away. There is no proof that this actually happened.

Malema wants Ramaphosa to step aside.

EFF Leader, who is rumored to be teaming up with the RET faction in bringing Ramaphosa down, is saying Ramaphosa must immediately step aside. Malema says Deputy President, David Mabuza must start preparing to take over. He is adamant that Ramaphosa is in big trouble. ” I have never lied to the country, something big is coming “, Malema said.

My opinion

Truth is, the timing of all this expose` is indeed questionable. With all the loopholes in the video clip, there should be something fishy here. Ramaphosa says that indeed money was stolen from his farm but it was not the R60 million that Fraser is claiming to have been stashed in Ramaphosa’s house. Who is lying here?
