TikTok Star Cooper Noriega, 19, Dies After Posting Video About Dying Young

Cooper Noriega, TikTok star, was discovered dead at the age of 19 just hours after posting a video about dying young.

According to TMZ, police received a 911 call on Thursday from someone who discovered the young influencer unresponsive in a parking lot in Los Angeles.

‘Who else b thinking they gon die young af,’ he captioned a video of himself lying in bed.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office, his death is currently being investigated.

According to sources, Noriega was not inside a vehicle when he was discovered and showed no signs of trauma to his body.

Noriega was very popular on Tiktok, where he primarily vlogs about skateboarding, fashion, and comedy, and had 1.77 million followers. He also has 427,000 Instagram followers.

On June 5, Noriega revealed that he had created a Discord group solely for the purpose of discussing mental health.

‘I’ve been struggling with addiction since I was 9 years old, you may think that’s crazy, but that’s the life I’ve been dealt,’ Noriega wrote in his bio.

‘I’d like to use the power I’ve been given to create a space dedicated to raising awareness and normalizing the discussion of mental illness.’

He also stated that it was his dream to open his own rehab facility for people in similar situations to himself.

‘One of the many things I’ve learned while struggling with addiction is that surrounding yourself with negative people will only bring you down,’ wrote Noriega. ‘As a result, Discord is intended to bring us all together and create a safe space where people can vent and help others in need.’

Noriega revealed to fans that he had a ‘overdose/suicide attempt’ on fentanyl in 2020, but by January 2021, he had celebrated 90 days sober and was committed to staying clean.

Fans and friends of the TikTok celebrity have taken to social media to mourn his untimely death.
