Salima Sugar terminates sponsorship with Mighty Mukuru Wanderers

Salima Sugar Company has ditched Mighty Wanderers Football Club barely hours after the club signed a K175 million sponsorship with Mukuru.

Wanderers chairman for Commercialization drive Clement Stambuli has confirmed.

Salima Sugar Company Secretary Dr Charles Thupi signed the letter addressed to Wanderers Fc dated 15 June 2022, which says the decision not to renew the contract with the team is purely a business decision.

Salima Sugar was providing Wanderers with a monthly K5 million financial support.
