Lilongwe Demonstrators Delivers Petition To Chinese Embassy

People demonstrating against a Chinese National accused of exploiting Malawian children have presented a petition to the Chinese Embassy in Lilongwe.
In the petition, the group led by University of Malawi Child rights legal clinic among others demands the Chinese government to compensate the children whose rights were infringed on.
They also want the accused to be brought to Malawi and be tried by a Malawian court.
Spokesperson for the Chinese Embassy in Malawi Hi received the petition.
The demonstrators are now heading to capital hill to present copies of the petition to ministries of Gender and Foreign Affairs.
