TANZANIA – In a village that borders the Gombe National Park in Tanzania, the residents have been left dumbfounded as a troop of monkeys took away a breastfeeding infant from her mother. The mother and her child lived in Mwamgongo village in Tanzania. The woman was breastfeeding her baby outside her house on an hot afternoon when she was suddenly attacked by a troop of monkeys.
It seems the monkeys had a plan in mind as they snatched the baby away and tried to run away with the son. The other scared of losing her child screamed for help and villagers rushed to help her to get her son away from the monkeys. The villagers tried to rescue the baby and had to use force. In the process, the child ended up getting injured on the head and neck.
The child was rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment but he, unfortunately, passed away.
