Man Dies After Being Hit By Hot Pipe While Distilling Kachasu

A 37-year-old man Charles Mwale has died in Mchinji after being hit by a hot pipe which burst while distilling kachaso at Kaombe 3 Village in the district.
Mchinji Police Station Public Relations Officer Maxwell Jailos confirmed the development.
According to Jailos, after the case was reported to the law enforcers, police officers and medical doctors visited the scene, thereafter a postmortem revealed that the cause of the death was fatal head injury secondary to heavy loss of blood.
