2 Most Dangerous Diseases Which You Can Contract Even If You Use Condoms

While condoms are designed to prevent STIs, there are some serious diseases that can spread solely by skin-to-skin contact, therefore even while using contraceptives, one is never guaranteed protection against these illnesses.

However, the risk of developing these serious diseases can be reduced by wearing condoms properly. These illnesses comprise;

one) Herpes

One of the most serious illnesses that a person might catch even when protected is the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV), which is more generally known as the herpes virus. Research indicates that this virus can spread via oral or other forms of contact. The most common location for these sores to appear is around the mouth.

HSV can present as HSV-1, often referred to as oral herpes, and HSV-2, also referred to as herpes simplex.

Given how serious this disease is, we learn that it is important to understand how to use condoms correctly as detailed in the directions section on their pack in order to stay healthy.

Second, genital warts

One of the riskiest STIs, genital warts can have a variety of negative repercussions on people’s life and should be avoided. It is brought on by the HPV, or Human Papillomavirus.

Given the wide-ranging impacts these diseases have on those who are affected, let’s live healthy lifestyles and, whenever possible, follow abstinence until marriage to prevent catching these diseases.
