Police in running battles with protesters in Lilongwe

Information reaching this publication indicates that there running battles between law enforcers and protesters who want to go on with demonstrations despite an injunction from the court.
According to information at hand, the law enforcers engaged the grouping on the injunction by the courts but they failed to come into agreement.
The development forced the law enforcers to start firing teargas with an aim of dispersing the protesters who have invaded the streets.
The development has resulted into running battles between the two sides.
