Two MPs test positive for COVID-19

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that two Members of Parliament have tested positive to COVID-19.

Speaker of Parliament Catherine Gotani Hara confirmed of the development during announcement when Parliament resumed for debate this morning.

She said her office has received confirmation that there are two confirmed Covid-19 cases among the legislatures.

But Hara could not disclose the names of the said MPs.

Meanwhile, 91 law makers are absent today in Parliament.
