A lady who didn’t reveal her identity for some personal reasons gives accounts of her sad story concerning why she decided to divorce her husband three days after their wedding.
According to the lady, she met her husband in 2015, and they became best friends and chatted throughout these years. Last year December her best friend proposed to her at long last. She too asked him about his marital status, the man, on the other hand told her he has divorced his wife but had three children.
He added that his three kids are staying out of the country. Her husband again told her that he is from a royal family in Kumasi. He even sent her to different chiefs and queen mothers whom he claimed to be his family members. The man also told her the house he was staying in belongs to his mother. They made preparations for their marriage ceremony, but she found out that her husband-to-be lied about his children but he pleaded with her to forgive.
The man gave her GHC80,000 for their marriage ceremony, but it was not enough for their marriage, he convinced her that because he is from the royal family, he wants their marriage ceremony to be done in a grand one, she then add GHC180,000 and used it to buy the things they will need for their marriage. The lady added that her husband fell sick three days after their wedding.
She contacted her husband’s uncle who is a chief to inform him about her husband’s illness but the chief revealed to her that he is not related to her husband in any way but he asked him to pretend to be his uncle. She again went to the queen’s mother, and she too told her the same thing, at that moment she realized that her husband lied about everything he claimed to have, and she became disappointed in the marriage.
Her husband then revealed the whole truth that he is not from any royal family, the house too they are staying in it is not for his mother but he is renting the room, he also told her that he has not given birth, her husband explained to her that his motive was to get married to her that’s why he lied to her. The lady said she decided to get divorced three days after their wedding because she felt ashamed of what her husband did to her and also felt that her husband has betrayed her.
